On Saturday August 24th, the Western Berks Fire Department assisted the Pioneer Hose Company No 26 at a Structure Fire in Robesonia’s first due coverage area. The call was dispatched around 6:30 Saturday night and the Western Berks Fire department responded with Engine 18-1, Engine 18-2, and Rescue 18. Once on scene crew’s from Engine 18-2 went and made an interior attack with a second hand line in the residence. Engine 18-1’s personal laid 5inch supply line for a secondary water source to Engine 26. Once on location Rescue 18’s personal assisted with roof ventilation, overhaul and refilling cylinders. Company 18 was on scene till about 9pm and was then released by command to return to station and go available.
