On Tuesday May 4th the WBFD was dispatched to a vehicle fire in the 300 block of Green Valley Road in Lower Heidelberg Township. Crews arrived on scene with an active fire from the engine compartment. A single hand line was deployed and the fire was quickly extinguished within a few minutes of arrival. Engine 18-1 and Engine 18-2 handled the call and were on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
